The exact amount depends on the battery’s usable capacity and the certificate price at the time. The rate dropped on 1 May 2026 and is set to drop again on 1 January 2027, so the sooner you install, the bigger the discount. We claim it on your behalf.

Most Melbourne homes cover their evening usage with 6 to 10 kWh. Bigger isn’t always better. We size it from your actual bills and solar output rather than selling you the biggest box, and if you’re planning an EV or heat pump we’ll factor that in.

No. Solar Victoria’s interest-free battery loan closed in 2025. Battery support in Victoria now comes from the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount, which we apply to your quote. The Solar Victoria panel rebate and its matching interest-free loan are still available for eligible households.
